Assembled PCB testing and inspection
Every PCB we produce undergoes optical inspection and 100% final inspection. For selected projects, we also carry out functional testing to customer specifications.
Automated optical inspection (AOI)
We check assembled PCBs using automated optical inspection:
- SAKI BF Sirius: 2D AOI for rapid checks of component position, orientation and presence.
- SAKI 3DI-LS2: 3D AOI with solder joint height analysis detects even minor soldering defects.
Inspection data is recorded and can be provided to customers on request.
Functional testing
By agreement, we carry out functional testing according to the customer's test plan, such as powering up the PCB and checking inputs/outputs, current consumption or bus communication.
100% final inspection
Before dispatch, we inspect every assembled PCB individually, both visually and under a microscope, with functional testing where required by the project. Our aim is to ensure no defective units are delivered.

Inspection and testing procedures are documented in our quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001, which we have operated at LETEL since 1998.
