Contract PCB assembly (SMT and THT)
Automated surface-mount assembly (SMT), manual through-hole assembly (THT) and all soldering methods under one roof in Přeštice.
LETEL elektronik provides complete contract PCB assembly from single units and prototypes to medium-volume production runs. We work with customer-supplied materials or handle full component procurement.
Automated SMT placement
We assemble PCBs using modern pick-and-place machines:
- Assembleon TOPAZ XII FNC: high-speed placement of small SMD components.
- Assembleon OPAL XII: flexible placement of larger packages and ICs.
- Yamaha YG100R: additional pick-and-place machine for specialist requirements.
We apply solder paste using an automatic stencil printer DEK Horizon 03i. Reflow soldering takes place in a reflow oven HELLER 1707 MK 5 with a precisely controlled thermal profile, using a RoHS-compliant lead-free process as standard.
Manual THT assembly and wave soldering
We insert through-hole components manually at well-lit, ergonomic workstations. For production runs, we offer automated wave soldering with ATF 33-40 in a RoHS-compliant configuration.
Selective soldering
For boards with sensitive components or mixed-technology assemblies, we use the Nordson Integra 508.3PD selective soldering machine. It precisely solders selected joints without affecting surrounding components.
Manual soldering
We handle additional operations, repairs and specialist joints manually using both leaded and lead-free alloys. We use no-clean fluxes and, where required, subsequent automated PCB cleaning.
